My Michelin restaurant experience in Tenerife

As a connoisseur of good cuisine, I always gladly enjoy the opportunity to visit a Michelin restaurant. For me, visiting such restaurants is an experience. In such places, they don't just serve food, but an exciting adventure for the palate. That's why I don't skimp on quality places, and those rated by Michelin are guaranteed to be.

In Tenerife we have as many as 11 Michelin restaurants and this news was very impressive to me because the island itself is not very big in terms of territory. However, there are countries that do not have a single Michelin restaurant, and having as many as 11 is a real blessing for connoisseurs of haute cuisine.

We visited the restaurant San Sebastián 57, which is located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the street of the same name - San Sebastián 57. It turned out that the portions are not gourmet, but normal pleasant portions that we even managed to share for two people. The restaurant was kind enough to divide the portions in the kitchen so that each of us had a beautifully served meal, even if it was half a gram.

We consumed:

1 x Tartar de mero canario, avocado and wasabi mayo.

1 x Espuma de coliflor, camarón rojo y huevo a 62 grados.

2 x Cherne negro, pil pil de sus pieles, batata yema y polvo de boletus.

The cuisine was actually inspired by Canarias, but served and prepared with the finesse typical of a Michelin restaurant. Along with the dinner, we also enjoyed a local white wine from the North of Tenerife, which further emphasized the taste of the fish. If I had to rate the restaurant:

food - 5/5 service - 5/5 attitude - 5/5 details - 5/5 prices - 5/5 atmosphere - 4/5 Will I visit again? Not only will I visit it, but I will also take my loved ones who come to visit me in Tenerife. This place is for good times with good people. So, fellow foodies, if you've had the pleasure of dining at any Michelin-starred restaurants, I'd love to hear about your experiences!
